CIC Urges SAI to Publish Young Professional Recruitment Details
The Central Information Commission reviewed questions about how the Sports Authority of India hired Young Professionals.
Someone had used the Right to Information law to ask for recruitment details.
SAI said 2,492 people applied.
It said 1,323 people were invited to interviews, and 1,092 attended.
The commission said SAI had properly answered the questions it could answer.
However, it also advised SAI to publish more recruitment information on its website.
This should include selected candidates, category-wise merit lists and their marks.
The goal is to make the process clearer and reduce the need for people to file RTI requests.
