JNTUH finalises men’s squad for football championship
JNTUH, a university in Hyderabad, recently chose its best football players to represent them in a big football tournament.
They had trials where 90 players from different colleges showed their skills.
A famous football player, P Prakash, helped pick the best team.
The tournament will happen next year from January 5th to 11th at Woxsen University.
The university is hopeful that their team will do well in the competition.
JNTUH concluded selection trials for its men’s football team on Tuesday.
The trials were supervised by Sports Council Secretary NS Dileep and Assistant Professor Nallagonda Ashok.
P Prakash, a veteran footballer, was appointed as the Chief Selector.
90 players from various affiliated colleges participated in the trials.
The selected team will represent JNTUH in the South Zone Inter-University Football Championship from 5 January to 11 January 2026, hosted by Woxsen University in Sadasivapet, Sangareddy.
