INDIA Bloc Leaders Gather at Moets Amid Anti-CEC Protests

Mallikarjun Kharge invited leaders from the INDIA bloc to lunch at a Delhi restaurant called Moets.

The lunch happened while opposition leaders were protesting against Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

They want him to resign over allegations connected to changes to voter lists.

The Election Commission says its plans and timing for those changes were approved unanimously.

Some opposition leaders, including Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, were detained during protests.

The group also expected to hold a joint press conference later that day.

Moets has been part of Delhi’s food scene since it opened in 1965.

It began in Defence Colony and later grew into restaurants and catering.
