TGSRTC Bus Crashes Into Cars, Petrol Pump Dispensers at Batasingaram
A public bus crashed at a petrol station in Batasingaram on Thursday morning.
Before reaching the station, it hit two cars that were waiting for fuel.
It then hit the petrol pumps and damaged some equipment and wires.
No one was reported hurt.
Video from the station showed a car making a sudden U-turn.
A truck parked in the wrong way may have blocked the bus driver’s view.
The bus driver swerved to avoid the car, according to the video’s apparent sequence of events.
Police are investigating and have registered a case against the driver.
A TGSRTC bus traveling from Dilsukhnagar toward Choutuppal crashed into two cars and fuel dispensers at a Bharat Petroleum pump.
The accident occurred around 10:45 a.m. on Thursday in Batasingaram.
The crash damaged the station’s oil display, petrol dispensing gun, pillar and electric power wires.
The pump manager reported that nobody was injured in the accident.
CCTV appeared to show a car making a sudden U-turn and an irregularly parked truck contributing to the crash; police registered a case against the bus driver.
