The Ramones Documentary Set for 4K Cinema Re-Release

The Ramones were a punk rock band from Queens, New York.

They began making music in the 1970s with a fast and raw sound.

A documentary about the band was released in 2003.

Magnolia Pictures is preparing a new, sharper 4K version of that documentary.

It will return to cinemas later this year.

For the first time, people will also be able to rent or buy the film digitally.

The Ramones’ first album is celebrating its 50th anniversary.

On Aug.

30, several musicians will perform Ramones songs at a Los Angeles tribute event.

The documentary also tells how the band faced conflicts, limited chart success, and difficult endings.
