Tamil Nadu Launches Solar Rooftop Software
Tamil Nadu is launching a new software called 'Rooftop Solar Explorer' to help people install solar panels on their roofs more easily.
Right now, people have to apply online and wait for someone to check their building in person.
The new software will use data and pictures taken by drones to give approvals faster.
This is part of Tamil Nadu's plan to get half of its energy from renewable sources like solar by the year 2030.
