Stalin Denounces Amit Shah's Hindu Rights Accusation
Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, said that the DMK government in Tamil Nadu is not treating Hindus fairly.
He mentioned that Hindu traditions and processions are being stopped and that people in the government have made negative comments about Hinduism.
MK Stalin, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, disagreed strongly.
He said that Shah's comments are not true and that his government respects all religions and protects the rights of people from all faiths.
Stalin also promised that such issues will not happen in Tamil Nadu as long as he is in charge.
Stalin also highlighted the achievements of his government in protecting and promoting Hindu religious rights, including the consecration of 4,000 temples and the retrieval of temple lands from encroachers.
He framed the 2026 Assembly elections as a challenge to the self-respect of Tamil people, stating that it would decide if the state should be ruled by someone from the state or by someone from New Delhi.
