Phillies' Aaron Nola Struggles in Return From Injury
Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Aaron Nola had a rough return to the mound after being injured.
He gave up six runs in a short time while pitching against the Washington Nationals.
Nola had been out for three months because of an ankle and rib injury.
His team, the Phillies, had to bring him back earlier than planned due to another pitcher, Zack Wheeler, getting hurt.
The Phillies also brought back another player, Alec Bohm.
Unfortunately for Nola, his return wasn't great as he struggled to get batters out.
Aaron Nola allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings in his return from the injured list.
Nola's poor performance came against the Washington Nationals.
He had been sidelined for three months due to a sprained ankle and fractured rib.
The Phillies activated Nola and Alec Bohm from the injured list.
Zack Wheeler was placed on the injured list with a blood clot in his right arm.
