Tainted Teachers Seek Court Nod to Retake Recruitment Exam
Some teachers in West Bengal who were fired are now trying to get another chance to take a test to get their jobs back.
They say they were wrongly put on a list of people who aren't allowed to take the test.
They are asking the court to let them take the test because it starts very soon.
The court will hear their case to decide if they can take the test or not.
This is all because the Supreme Court said that the way these teachers were hired in the past was not fair.
Nearly 350 sacked teachers filed a petition in Calcutta High Court.
They claim their names were wrongly added to the 'tainted' candidates list.
The teachers seek permission to retake the upcoming recruitment exam.
The recruitment exams are scheduled for September 7 and 14.
The High Court will hear the matter on Tuesday.
