Bombay High Court Seeks Ward-Wise Action on Mumbai Garbage

The Bombay High Court says Mumbai’s garbage problem has not improved enough.

The judges explained that clean places like Worli and South Mumbai do not mean the whole city is clean.

They pointed to serious garbage problems in western suburbs, including Jogeshwari and Malad.

The court wants the BMC to explain what it is doing in every ward.

It also asked about the cleanup work done on Gandhi Jayanti.

One report says the court asked for hospital information about some contagious diseases.

The BMC’s lawyer said the city regularly checks cleanliness.

The court will hear the matter again on October 22.
