Thyrocare Technologies Issues 2:1 Bonus Shares
Thyrocare Technologies is giving its shareholders extra shares.
For every one share you own, you will get two more, making it three shares in total.
The stock price might look like it's dropping a lot, but that's just because there are more shares now.
It's like if you have one big cookie and it's split into three smaller ones - you still have the same amount of cookie, just in more pieces.
The company is also doing well, with good growth in its profits and sales.
The bonus shares will cost the company about ₹106.11 crore to issue.
The company has also announced an interim dividend and has been expanding its network by adding new laboratories.
Thyrocare Technologies issued a 2:1 bonus share, tripling the number of shares held by investors.
The stock price appeared to drop by 67% due to the bonus issue, adjusting from ₹1,473.90 to ₹491.
The company reported a 22% YoY revenue growth and an 82% YoY profit after tax (PAT) growth in Q2 FY26.
Thyrocare Technologies remains debt-free with net cash and short-term investments exceeding ₹190 crore.
