Mumbai BMC Cracks Down on Abandoned Vehicles
The Mumbai government is trying to get rid of old, broken-down cars left on the streets.
They've told over 3,100 owners to take their cars away.
If they don't, the city will tow the vehicles.
So far, the city has found over 4,325 abandoned vehicles.
The goal is to make it easier for people to get around.
If owners get a notice, they have about three days to move their cars before the city takes them away.
BMC issued notices to over 3,100 owners to remove abandoned vehicles.
1,927 abandoned vehicles have been towed to contractor yards.
Over 4,325 abandoned vehicles identified citywide since the drive started.
