GST Cuts to Save Renewable Energy Developers Billions
The Indian government has lowered taxes on things like solar panels and wind turbines.
This means companies that make and use renewable energy will save a lot of money, around ₹1 to ₹1.5 trillion.
The goal is to have a lot more clean energy, specifically 500 GW by 2030.
The government has already added about 251-252 GW of non-fossil capacity, mostly from solar and wind power.
