Delhi School Suicide Protest: Families Demand Action
A boy from a famous Delhi school died by jumping off a metro station.
His family and friends protested outside the school, saying mean teachers made him sad and the school didn't help.
They want the government to make rules to protect other kids' feelings and punish the teachers who hurt this boy.
Families and friends of a 16-year-old student staged a protest outside St Columba’s School after his suicide.
Protestors accused teachers of mental harassment and demanded strict action against them and the school management.
They urged the government to strengthen mental health safeguards for students and establish district-level guidelines.
The student's family alleged that the school counsellor knew about his mental struggles but did not inform them.
The student left a suicide note blaming teachers and expressing his desire to donate his organs.
