PLI Schemes Drive ₹2 Lakh Crore Investment
The Indian government has special programs called Production-Linked Incentive (PLI) Schemes.
These programs help different industries in India to grow and make more products.
So far, these programs have brought in ₹2 lakh crore in investments.
This has helped create more jobs and increased the production and sales of goods by ₹18.7 lakh crore.
The programs cover 14 different industries, including electronics, pharmaceuticals, and engineering goods.
The government says these programs have made India stronger in making important medicines and devices.
They have also helped India sell more products to other countries, even when the world economy is facing challenges.
PLI schemes have attracted ₹2 lakh crore in investments across 14 sectors.
These schemes have resulted in incremental production or sales of ₹18.7 lakh crore.
Over 12.6 lakh jobs (direct and indirect) have been created due to these schemes.
