ESZ Draft Issued for Ramgarh Tiger Reserve: 184 Villages Included
The government is planning a protected area around the Ramgarh Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan.
This zone, called an Eco-Sensitive Zone, will cover a large area with many villages.
The public has a chance to share their thoughts on the plan.
The aim is to help protect the tigers and their home by managing what can be built and done in the area.
The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change issued a draft notification for an Eco-Sensitive Zone (ESZ) around the Ramgarh Vishdhari Tiger Reserve.
The draft is open for public consultation for 60 days, allowing stakeholders to submit feedback.
