Mohan Yadav Orders Annual Promotion Meetings, Continued Recruitment
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav wants government workers to be considered for promotions every year.
He said the meetings that decide promotions had not happened regularly in the past.
He asked officials to finish this year's promotion process within this year.
He also said promotions, new jobs, and jobs for eligible family members of deceased employees should continue.
The Agriculture Department plans to fill more than 1,500 jobs.
Officials said 3,357 department employees have been promoted.
The government says it has made around 85,000 appointments and aims to recruit one lakh people by next year.
