Calcutta HC Reserves Judgment on Messi Event Fiasco
There was a big event in Kolkata with Lionel Messi, a famous football player.
Many fans were upset because they couldn't see Messi properly and the event ended early.
Some fans got very angry and started throwing things and causing trouble.
Now, the court is deciding what to do about this.
The government says they didn't organize the event, but some people want the government to investigate and give the fans their money back.
The court has heard all the arguments and will make a decision later.
In other cities like Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Delhi, Messi's events went well without any problems.
The Calcutta High Court concluded the hearing of three PILs regarding the chaos at Lionel Messi's event in Kolkata.
Petitioners demanded an investigation by central agencies and a refund of ticket prices for the spectators.
The West Bengal government argued that the event was organized by a private company and not the state.
The owner of the event management company, Satadru Dutta, was arrested on December 14.
The state government formed an enquiry committee and the DGP was issued a show cause letter over the incident.
