BRS MP demands Telangana continue Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak schemes

There is a leader named Vaddiraju Ravichandra who works in the Indian Parliament.

He wants the Telangana government to keep two special programs called Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak.

These programs give money to poor families when their daughters get married.

A former leader named K Chandrasekhar Rao started these programs on October 2, 2014.

More than 13 lakh women got help from these programs over ten years.

Now the new government, led by the Congress party, may stop the programs.

Ravichandra says the government is using a court case as an excuse to stop them.

People from the BRS party held protests in many places, including Kothagudem.

Ravichandra asked the Chief Minister, A Revanth Reddy, to keep the programs going.

He also said the government did not follow court orders to reply to the case.
