Gen Ji vs Gen Z: Parliament's Monsoon Session Washout

Gen Ji vs Gen Z: Parliament's Monsoon Session Washout

India's Parliament is where leaders meet to make laws and discuss important issues.

Recently, a special meeting called the Monsoon Session ended without much work being done.

Even Question Hour, the time when ministers answer questions, did not happen.

It all started with students who were upset about the NEET exam.

They wanted changes to the exam and accountability for problems connected to it.

Their protest led Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan to step down from his job.

A new law about NEET reforms was then passed.

Political parties, especially Congress, saw this as a chance to win the support of young people, called Gen Z, for the 2029 elections.

The government says its rules about money given to NGOs from abroad are fair to everyone.

Meanwhile, leaders are still arguing about all these issues.
