Venkaiah Naidu Launches Mobile Health Vans

Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu recently launched two mobile medical vans in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh.

These vans are part of the Sujana Health on Wheels programme, which aims to bring healthcare services directly to people's homes.

The initiative, costing about ₹1.35 crore, is run by the Sujana Foundation and focuses on helping poor and middle-class families.

One van has a doctor's room, a lab for blood tests, and a pharmacy with free medicines.

The other van has machines for X-rays, ECG, and 2D Echo tests.

Venkaiah Naidu praised the programme for its preventive healthcare approach and commended the local MLA, Yalamanchili Satyanarayana (Sujana) Chowdary, for his efforts in improving public health and welfare.

The vans will work with local health centers and help patients get advanced treatment if needed.
