Raghav Productivity Targets Odisha Plant, Aims to Double Market Share
Raghav Productivity Enhancers makes a material called silica ramming mass for some steel furnaces.
The company is building a new factory in Odisha with Japan’s TRL Kosaki.
It expects the factory to open in about a year.
The plant will cost around ₹100 crore and make 350,000 tonnes of material each year.
Producing goods closer to eastern India should lower transport costs.
The company also hopes to sell more products in nearby countries and the Far East.
It currently has about 15% of India’s organised-sector market.
It expects that share to reach about 30% after the new plant is established.
Raghav Productivity Enhancers expects to commission its Odisha silica ramming mass plant in about one year.
The ₹100 crore joint-venture plant with Japan’s TRL Kosaki will have annual capacity of 350,000 metric tonnes.
The company expects its organised-sector market share to rise from 15% to about 30% after commissioning.
The Odisha facility is expected to reduce freight costs and support exports to Bangladesh, Bhutan and Far East countries.
Raghav Productivity Enhancers aims to increase total production capacity beyond 1 million tonnes through a multi-location strategy.
