How to Check and Update Your Mutual Fund KYC Status
KYC, or Know Your Customer, is important for mutual fund investments.
Before investing, check your KYC status online using your PAN.
Visit an AMC or RTA website to find your status: 'validated', 'registered', 'on hold', or 'rejected'.
If 'validated', you're all set.
If 'registered', you can continue with existing investments.
If 'on hold' or 'rejected', follow the instructions on the website to update your information, such as validating mobile number, email, or linking PAN to Aadhaar.
The AMFI website provides modification options.
KYC status can be checked on AMC or RTA websites.
Enter your PAN to view the status.
Status options include: validated, registered, on hold, or rejected.
Validated status requires no action.
On hold/rejected statuses require updates as specified on the website.
