Westinghouse Files Confidential IPO Amid Rising Nuclear Demand

Westinghouse Electric Company, a long‑time nuclear power company, is planning to sell shares to the public but is keeping the details secret for now.

They filed a confidential form with the U.S. government so they can work out the numbers without telling everyone.

People want more nuclear power because big computer centers need a lot of electricity, and nuclear plants can provide it.

Westinghouse is owned by two big companies, Brookfield and Cameco.

They also have deals with U.S. government agencies to help build more nuclear plants.
