Bengaluru Offers 50% Discount on Old Traffic Fines
The Karnataka government is giving a 50% discount on old traffic fines in Bengaluru.
These fines are for traffic rules broken between 1991 and 2020.
You can pay these discounted fines from November 21 to December 12.
But remember, if you have any unpaid car taxes, you still need to pay those fully.
This discount is for fines given by the traffic police and the transport department.
It's a good chance to clear old fines at half the price!
The Karnataka government offers a 50% discount on old traffic fines issued between 1991-1992 and 2019-2020.
The discount applies to fines issued by RTOs and traffic e-challans, but not to pending vehicle tax dues.
Motorists can avail this discount from 21 November to 12 December.
The discount is part of a government initiative to encourage the payment of pending traffic fines.
