Generali Central Unveiled by Generali Group, Central Bank of India
Imagine two big companies, Generali and Central Bank of India, joined forces to sell insurance.
They decided to give their insurance business a new name, Generali Central, to make it easier to recognize.
This means that the insurance will be called Generali Central Life Insurance Company Limited and Generali Central Insurance Company Limited.
Generali, a global company, still owns most of the business.
They plan to use their expertise and the bank's many branches to sell insurance to more people, especially in smaller towns and areas where insurance isn't as common.
This newly branded company has a lot of money and aims to protect families and businesses.
Generali Group and Central Bank of India rebranded their joint venture to Generali Central.
The rebranding includes new visual identities, logos, and online presence.
Generali Group retains a 74% stake, Central Bank of India 26%.
The partnership leverages Generali's global expertise and Central Bank's branch network.
Generali Central manages ₹7,938 crore in assets, and ₹5,547.5 crore gross written premium in FY2024-25.
