CJP Protest Continues as Dipke Returns
Abhijeet Dipke, the founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), missed a protest at Jantar Mantar on July 23, 2026, because he was sick with a fever and body pain.
He apologized and said he would return to the protest site in the evening.
The CJP is protesting to demand the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over exam paper leaks.
They also want Sonam Wangchuk, who is on a hunger strike, to end his fast for his health.
The CJP says they will not stop protesting until Pradhan resigns.
They also want any future meetings with the government to be held at the protest site.
Dipke said the government kept them waiting for hours during a meeting with Union Minister JP Nadda, which he called a waste of time.
