Santosh Dutta Made Satyajit Ray Toss Coin

Santosh Dutta was a famous Bengali actor who worked with the great filmmaker Satyajit Ray.

Once, Dutta suggested another take for a scene, and he did it so well that Ray had to toss a coin to decide which version to keep.

Dutta acted in many famous Bengali movies and was known for his dedication and spontaneity.

His son, Sandip Ray, shared stories about Dutta's fear during a camel ride scene and a knife-throwing scene, which made his expressions on screen very real.

The event celebrating Dutta's centenary also featured a screening of a restored version of the film 'Joy Baba Felunath'.
