Congress demands apology from PM Modi after SC clears Manmohan Singh in coal case

The Supreme Court of India has cleared former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh of any criminal charges in the coal block allocation case, also known as the Coalgate scam.

The Congress Party has demanded an apology from current Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who had previously accused Singh of corruption.

The Congress also criticized the India Against Corruption movement, alleging it was used to defame the UPA government.

The Supreme Court's decision has been seen as a vindication of Singh's righteousness by his supporters.
