Indian Railways Plans 100 Special Trains for Festive Rush

Indian Railways will run more than 100 extra trains during the festive season.

These trains are meant to help people travel to their hometowns.

Many passengers travel during Durga Puja, Diwali and Chhath.

The extra services will run on routes connected to several Indian states.

These include Bihar, West Bengal, Assam, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.

The trains will provide more seats and sleeping berths.

This may help reduce long waiting lists.

Railways has also added coaches to some regular trains.

The goal is to make festive-season travel easier and more comfortable.
