Indian Railways Sanctions Rs 125-Crore Bhavnagar Para Project

Indian Railways Sanctions Rs 125-Crore Bhavnagar Para Project

Indian Railways plans to rebuild and expand the Bhavnagar Para railway yard in Gujarat.

The project is expected to cost around Rs 125 crore.

Some train storage and other railway work will move there from Bhavnagar Terminus.

This should make the main terminus less crowded.

The yard will receive new tracks and special sidings for emergency railway equipment.

Passengers will get a new platform and better foot-over-bridge connections.

Existing facilities, including a platform and a road under bridge, will also be expanded.

The changes are meant to help trains move more smoothly and arrive more punctually.
