BSF Celebrates 61st Raising Day with Charity
The Border Security Force (BSF) celebrated its 61st Raising Day on December 1, 2024.
They organized a big charity event in Indore, India, to help poor families.
The BSF gave out warm clothes, food, and sweets to people living in two places called Unmukt Sewa Sansthan and Pitra Parvat.
This was to make sure these families stay warm and have enough to eat during the cold winter.
The families were very thankful and wished the BSF good health and success.
The BSF said that helping people is just as important as their regular job of keeping the country safe.
They want to show that they care about the community and want to build strong relationships with the people they serve.
Additionally, the BSF is working hard to secure the border with Bangladesh by 2026 and has made significant seizures of illegal goods in the past year.
BSF celebrated its 61st Raising Day on December 1, 2024, marking its founding on December 1, 1965.
A charity drive was organized in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, to support underprivileged families in Unmukt Sewa Sansthan and Pitra Parvat.
Essential items like winter clothes, grocery kits, festive sweets, and ration packs were distributed to provide immediate relief.
The initiative aimed to uplift marginalized sections by ensuring warmth, nutrition, and festive cheer during challenging times.
BSF is focused on sealing the Meghalaya-Bangladesh border by 2026 and enhancing surveillance to combat trans-border crimes and prevent fundamentalist infiltration.
