Trent Rockets Reach Both Hundred Finals at Lord's
The Hundred is a cricket competition with eight men's teams and eight women's teams.
This year, rich people who own cricket teams in India bought three English teams.
Those teams got new names, like Manchester Originals becoming Manchester Super Giants.
The new owners spent lots of money hoping their teams would win.
But the team that didn't change owners, the Trent Rockets, surprised everyone.
Both their men's team and women's team finished first in their groups.
That means they go straight to the big finals at a famous cricket ground called Lord's.
The other teams have to win extra matches on Friday to earn a place in Sunday's finals.
On Sunday, the women's final is at 2.15pm and the men's final is at 6pm.
Trent Rockets' men's and women's teams topped their group tables, qualifying directly for both Hundred finals at Lord's on Sunday 16 August.
The women's final is at 2.15pm and the men's at 6pm; Friday's eliminators at the Kia Oval feature Sunrisers Leeds in both competitions.
IPL-linked owners took operational control of three franchises this season: MI London, Sunrisers Leeds and Adani-backed Manchester Super Giants.
An ECB restructuring valued the eight teams at more than £975 million, and 2026 brought cricket's first live player auction in London.
Trent Rockets qualified without a takeover, while Annabel Sutherland has driven Sunrisers Leeds' women's side to a four-match winning streak.
