CJP Plans Delhi Protest Over Unfulfilled Student Demands

The Cockroach Janata Party says the government has not completed promises made to students.

The party says three of its four demands are still pending.

These demands include money for some students’ families, dropping police cases, and an apology from security forces.

It plans to protest at India Gate on September 5.

The party may then march to Delhi Police Headquarters.

Its founder, Abhijeet Dipke, said the protest could become an indefinite sit-in.

He said the government had not kept its promise after nearly a month.

He also said the protests show that many people are unhappy with the education system.
