Google Phone App Gets Vibrant Redesign with New Features
Google is giving its Phone app a makeover!
The new look is based on a design called Material 3.
It's designed to be more colorful and easier to use.
Instead of a bunch of tabs, you'll see just three: Home, Keypad, and Voicemail.
The Home tab quickly shows who you call most often.
Your call history will now show each call separately so you can easily see who called you and how many times.
This update is currently available for testing to see what users think.
Google is updating its Phone app with a new design based on the Material 3 Expressive design.
The redesign is currently available for public beta testers.
The app features a simplified three-tab navigation: Home, Keypad, and Voicemail.
A 'Favourites' bar allows one-tap access to frequent contacts.
Call logs now list each call individually, rather than grouping calls.
