Iran Sends $200 Million to Hezbollah for Displaced Supporters

Two people who know about the transfer said Iran sent Hezbollah $200 million.

They said the money arrived last month.

Hezbollah says it has secured money, but it has not said where it came from.

The group plans to give families an initial payment of $3,000.

About 50,000 families whose villages were destroyed or are hard to reach may be helped first.

Many people have been forced from their homes during fighting between Israel and Hezbollah.

Lebanon’s health ministry says more than 4,300 people have been killed in Israeli attacks since March 2.

Moving money to Hezbollah has reportedly become harder because of increased pressure and restrictions.
