St. Xavier's University Hosts Xenith’25: A Celebration of Visual Storytelling
Imagine a big art show just for photos taken by students!
That's what Xenith’25 was.
It was like a poetry contest, but instead of words, students used their cameras to tell stories.
They showed pictures about things that were only black and white, super simple, or had big differences.
Experts in photography came to share tips and judge the pictures.
It was a fun way for students to show how they see the world through their cameras and to celebrate amazing photography.
Xenith’25: A Poetry of Pixels, the second edition of an inter-college photography exhibition and competition, was hosted by XPOSURE, the Xavier University Photography Society.
The event took place on October 30-31, 2025, at St. Xavier’s University, Kolkata, showcasing visual narratives from students across various universities.
Themes for the exhibition included Monochrome, Minimalism, and Contrast, aiming to celebrate visual storytelling.
A photography workshop, "Where Strangers Become Stories," was conducted by Fujifilm X Ambassador Lopamudra Talukdar.
The event culminated in a closing ceremony with a prize distribution for winning photography categories, judged by industry professionals.
