Anime India Mumbai 2026 Sets Three-Day NESCO Celebration
Anime India is planning a large anime and Japanese pop-culture event in Mumbai.
It will take place for three days from 28 to 30 August 2026.
The event will be held at NESCO Exhibition Centre in Goregaon.
Hayato Date, who directed Naruto and Naruto Shippuden, is expected to attend.
Other Japanese creators, entertainment executives and music performers will also visit.
Fans can see attractions based on shows such as Demon Slayer, Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen and Doraemon.
There will also be games, a Maid Café, Japanese food, yukata activities and a Tanabata festival.
The organizers say more than 50,000 fans are expected.
Anime India Mumbai 2026 will run from 28 to 30 August 2026 at NESCO Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai.
Naruto and Naruto Shippuden director Hayato Date is scheduled to make his first official visit to India.
Japanese industry guests will include executives and producers from Avex Pictures, The Anime Times Company, TMS Entertainment and Kadokawa.
Performers announced include J-pop singer ASCA, Luna Gaomi, Love Live! talent Yura Akari and duo Mofmofmo.
The convention will feature anime attractions, gaming, cosplay-related cultural experiences, food, merchandise and a reported gathering of more than 50,000 fans.
