ECI Announces 18 Initiatives for Bihar Assembly Elections
The Election Commission is working to make voting easier in Bihar.
They're introducing new rules to help more people vote fairly.
The ECI is reducing the number of voters at each voting location to prevent long lines.
They are adding more voting places in cities.
Voters will be able to leave their phones at a counter near the polling station.
Instead of many apps, voters and officials will use one new app called ECINET.
This helps make the process easier and more transparent.
The ECI is also training people involved in the election.
ECI launches 18 initiatives to ensure fair Bihar assembly polls.
Voter numbers per booth reduced from 1,500 to 1,200 to reduce crowding.
Additional polling stations planned in urban areas.
Mobile phone deposit facilities will be provided near polling stations.
