Ola share price rises 3% after five-year PLI approval

Ola share price rises 3% after five-year PLI approval

Ola Electric is a company in India that makes electric scooters and the batteries that power them.

Good news arrived from the government: it will give the company money for making batteries in India.

The company can receive up to Rs 7,240 crore over five years.

The money will come every three months, starting very soon.

Because of this good news, the company's shares went up by almost three percent.

The government earlier gave the company a deadline, but now it has two extra years, giving it more time to build its battery factories.

Bhavish Aggarwal, the company's boss, says he is happy because the new plan helps the business a lot.

Some money experts still think the shares are too expensive and may go down in price.

The company will announce new energy products, called Shakti and Mahashakti, on Independence Day, but only online, with no big live event.
