Diddy Accuses Netflix of Stolen Footage
Sean 'Diddy' Combs is upset about a new documentary about him on Netflix.
He says the documentary uses footage that was not supposed to be shown and was taken without his permission.
The documentary is made by 50 Cent, who has been a longtime rival of Combs.
Netflix says they got the footage legally.
The documentary talks about Combs' career in music and his recent legal troubles.
Combs was found guilty of one charge but not guilty of more serious charges.
He wants people to know his side of the story.
Combs was sentenced to four years and two months in prison and ordered to pay a fine.
He might take legal action against Netflix.
Sean 'Diddy' Combs accuses Netflix of using 'stolen footage' in the documentary 'Sean Combs: The Reckoning'.
The documentary, directed by Alexandria Stapleton and produced with creative control by 50 Cent, premieres globally on December 2, 2023.
Combs alleges the footage was taken out of context and was part of his personal archive, issuing a cease-and-desist letter to Netflix.
Netflix claims they legally obtained the footage and have the necessary rights.
Combs was convicted of transportation to engage in prostitution and sentenced to four years and two months in prison, a $500,000 fine, and five years of supervised release, but acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges.
