Lucknow Mandates DM Approval for Christmas, New Year Events
The District Magistrate in Lucknow has said that anyone who wants to organize a party or event on Christmas or New Year's Eve needs to get permission first.
This includes hotels, clubs, and parks.
You have to apply online at least 10 days before the event and show that your place is safe.
If you don't get permission, you could get in trouble, like having to pay a fine or even going to jail.
The rule is to make sure everyone stays safe and follows the law during the holidays.
Prior approval from the District Magistrate is now mandatory for all entertainment events in Lucknow on Christmas and New Year's Eve.
Organizers must apply online at least 10 days before the event through the niveshmitra.up.nic.in portal.
Required certificates for fire safety, electrical safety, and law and order must be uploaded with the application.
