Kolkata Traffic Cop Teaches Homeless Child On Footpath

Prakash Ghosh is a police officer in Kolkata.

He noticed a boy named Akash living and spending time on a pavement.

Akash was not going to school and had forgotten some basic lessons.

His mother earns a small amount of money selling food by the roadside.

She could not easily pay for extra help with his studies.

Ghosh used his free moments while working as a traffic officer to teach Akash.

He had been a teacher before joining the police.

At first, Akash did not enjoy studying, but he slowly became more interested in books.

His mother hopes he can continue learning and build a better future.
