IIMB's NSRCEL Accelerates Deeptech Startups in India
NSRCEL, which is part of IIM Bangalore, helps new companies that use advanced technology to solve big problems.
They have a special program called Velocity that gives these companies the support they need to grow.
So far, they have helped over 1,000 entrepreneurs and 200 startups.
These startups have raised a lot of money and are making good progress.
Some of these startups are working on things like AI for schools, electric parts for drones, turning waste into clean energy, making sure products are made correctly, and giving animals a digital identity.
NSRCEL wants to help these companies grow and make a big impact in India and beyond.
NSRCEL, the startup incubator of IIM Bangalore, supports deeptech startups through its Velocity programme.
Over 1,000 entrepreneurs and 200 startups have been engaged and incubated in just two years.
Startups have collectively raised Rs 70 crore in funding and achieved Rs 330 crore+ in annual recurring revenue (ARR).
NSRCEL focuses on areas like manufacturing, Industry 5.0, healthtech, drones, alternate energy, AI, and climatetech.
Notable startups include Smartail (AI-powered assessment solutions), Nautical Wings (electric propulsion for drones and eVTOLs), Ossus Biorenewables (green hydrogen from industrial effluents), Jidoka Technologies (AI-driven accuracy in logistics), and ADIS Technologies (digital identity for animals).
