NFR installs ticket vending machines at 15 stations
The Northeast Frontier Railway has put in new machines at 15 train stations.
These machines help people buy tickets quickly without waiting in long lines.
They work with cards and don't need cash.
This makes it easier for people to get tickets, especially when many people are trying to buy them at the same time.
The machines are now working and are available at 11 stations in north Bengal and 4 in Assam.
They help make train travel smoother and faster.
Northeast Frontier Railway installed 21 automatic ticket vending machines at 15 stations.
Machines are operational since November 17, promoting digital ticketing.
