Eriq La Salle Exits CBS Series 'CIA' As Executive Producer
A new TV show called 'CIA' for CBS is having some people leave.
Eriq La Salle, who was supposed to help make the show and direct the first episode, has decided to leave.
He wants to spend more time writing his book series.
This happens after another main actor, Michael Michele, also left the show.
The show is about a CIA agent and an FBI agent who have to work together, even though they are very different.
Even with these departures, the show is still being filmed and is planned to start in the middle of the TV season.
The show has also had a change in its main writer earlier.
Eriq La Salle has departed the upcoming CBS series 'CIA' as an executive producer.
La Salle also directed the series' first episode before his exit.
His departure follows that of lead actor Michael Michele, who also recently left the show.
La Salle is leaving to focus on his 'Martyr Maker' thriller book series.
Despite these exits and a previous showrunner change, the series is continuing production for a midseason premiere.
