Maharashtra Investment Push Targets Energy, Aviation and Digital Infrastructure

Maharashtra has launched a new effort to attract and carry out investments.

Pranav Adani said the focus will include energy, airports, city development and digital facilities.

The Adani Group says it plans to invest more than Rs 6 lakh crore in the state.

It says projects worth about Rs 2.6 lakh crore are already finished or being built.

Maharashtra wants its economy to reach one trillion dollars by 2030.

The Mumbai Metropolitan Region is expected to be an important part of that goal.

Navi Mumbai International Airport is being built to serve the region and could eventually serve more than 90 million passengers each year.

Adani also said more renewable energy and stronger power connections are being developed in Mumbai.
