Tata Titans Locked in Tussle Over Chandrasekaran's Future
Tata Sons is a giant company that owns many other companies, like a big family of businesses.
Two groups of owners are arguing about who should be the boss.
The current boss, Mr Chandrasekaran, has a job that ends in February 2027.
One group of owners wants him to leave, and another group wants him to stay.
The group that wants him to leave is led by Noel Tata, whose half-brother Ratan Tata used to run the company.
The company is very big, with about a million employees and lots of money.
Some people say the current boss did a great job with one company called TCS.
Others say other companies grew faster than TCS did.
This is not the first time the owners have argued about leadership.
A similar argument happened before with another leader named Cyrus Mistry.
Tata Sons, the unlisted holding company controlling 26 listed Tata firms worth about $328 billion, faces a leadership dispute over chairman Natarajan Chandrasekaran's term, which ends in February 2027.

The dispute echoes the 2016 removal of chairman Cyrus Mistry, which triggered years of litigation that ended in the Tata group's favour in May 2021.
