Russian drone strikes kill two in Kyiv after Trump-Zelenskyy talks

Russia sent drones to attack Kyiv after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met US President Donald Trump.

At least two people were killed and 22 were injured.

Several places were damaged, including railway facilities, warehouses, businesses, and petrol stations.

One railway worker was hurt.

Zelenskyy said Ukraine was ready to stop attacks on energy facilities if Russia did the same.

He wanted this agreement reached before winter.

He also asked the United States for more air-defense support.

The Kremlin said conditions were not ready for peace talks to begin again.

Ukraine and Russia have continued attacking targets in each other’s territory.
