Rodrigo Paz Inaugurated as Bolivia's New President, Ending 20 Years of One-Party Rule

Rodrigo Paz Inaugurated as Bolivia's New President, Ending 20 Years of One-Party Rule

A new president named Rodrigo Paz has just been sworn into office in Bolivia.

This is a big change because his party will be in charge after another party ruled for about 20 years.

Many people in Bolivia are hoping he can fix their country's big money problems, like not having enough gas and facing high prices for food.

He promised to make changes, but not too quickly, unlike another candidate who wanted to make very fast, big changes.

Other presidents from nearby countries came to watch the ceremony.

Now, President Paz needs to work with different groups in the government because his party doesn't have the most power.

He also wants to work with the United States again and is getting a big loan to help the country get better.
